Arboretum Place is the cornerstone development in an ongoing revitalization of the Forest Hills commercial district in Boston, MA.
Public-owned vacant land is being re-purposed using principals of smart growth and sustainability, with a goal to expand and strengthen an existing commercial core surrounding one of Boston’s pivotal transportation hubs.
The project consists of two mixed-use buildings on separate parcels facing each other, with streetscape improvements and two semi-public pocket parks. Both buildings and sites are designed to achieve LEED Silver certification.
Work was realized following an extensive public review process, including a zoning map amendment.
