Forte Architecture + Design has been selected Architect for a new +/- 24,000sf Highway and Tree Department Operations Facility for the Town of Norwell, MA. Funding for this critical town infrastructure project was approved in January of 2020 and FA+d was awarded the design and engineering contract in May 2020 after a public bid process.
The estimated $5.5m project will consist of an addition and renovations to the existing Highway Department shed, including site improvements, vehicle storage, workshops, and upgraded employee and administrative areas. Construction is anticipated to begin in late Spring 2021.
